Not a lot to say today. Had the 1332km (828 mile) journey from Nagasaki back to Tokyo. Only took 9 hours, of which just over 1 hour was spent awaiting connections. The first train had me a little worried as my first connection was only 12 minutes, and we were nearly 5 minutes behind schedule for a while; but we ended up arriving a minute early thanks to what felt like some late and aggressive breaking being done by the driver. And for those who remember my comment about seeing if the view out the front of the Komome trains was any better from furhter back (day 14, I think)... It was a different type of train today for some reason so didn't get to find out!
Got the last train, a local service from Shinagawa to Shinjuku, to see them reporting delays on the system. It would appear that Tokyo had an earthquake registering 4.9 on the Richter scale a couple of hours before I arrived! Everything seems to be as normal though!
Anyway, time for some sleep and see what tomorrow brings!
